Unlike basic low-wattage rails that only warm towels, Electrorad’s Wi-Fi towel rails are powerful enough to accurately control the room temperature — heating to a constant set temperature with an electronic thermostat accurate to +/- 0.1°C.
Electrorad towel rails are available in 400W and 700W outputs and are fully programmable for all 7 days of the week, with separate comfort and economy temperatures. The built-in 24/7 digital touch screen controller includes an ambient room temperature sensor, so you always have precise control over your bathroom environment.
These rails come pre-filled and pre-installed with the heating element — ready to mount straight from the box. They are IPX4 rated for safe bathroom use and include an optional LST 43°C setting ideal for care environments. The open window detection feature automatically reduces output when a rapid temperature drop is detected, preventing energy waste.

Six Smart Operating Modes
The Electrorad Wi-Fi towel rail gives you full control over how your bathroom is heated, with six modes accessible directly from the touch screen or the Smart Life app
Comfort Mode
Controls the room temperature using the external ambient sensor. Set anywhere between 15°C and 30°C in 1°C steps. The rail heats until the room reaches your target temperature, then cycles to maintain it.
Eco Mode
Runs at a lower set room temperature for energy-saving background warmth — ideal for periods when the bathroom is used less frequently.
Radiator Mode
Controls the rail's internal fluid temperature rather than room temperature. Adjustable between 30°C and 70°C in 5°C steps. Ideal for maximising towel drying performance.
LST Mode (Low Surface Temperature)
Locks the rail's internal temperature at a fixed 43°C — non-adjustable. Suitable for care homes, schools and any environment where surface temperature safety is a requirement.
Anti-Freeze Mode
Always active in the background. If the internal temperature drops below 7°C, the rail automatically activates to bring the fluid up to 15°C, then switches off. Protects the rail and maintains a minimum room temperature.
Boost / Timer Mode
Activates the rail at maximum output for a fixed 2-hour period, then returns to standby. Accessible from both the control panel and the app.
Control From Anywhere With the Smart Life App
The Electrorad Wi-Fi towel rail connects to the free Smart Life app, powered by Tuya technology. Once paired via Bluetooth, you can control your rail from anywhere using your smartphone — whether you’re in the bathroom or away from home.
The app gives you access to the full weekly programming schedule, mode switching, temperature adjustment and device settings including open window detection, room temperature compensation and child lock. The rail also integrates with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, enabling simple voice commands to turn it on or off, change modes or adjust temperature.
Pairing is simple:
Download the Smart Life app (iOS or Android), create an account, then press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the controller for 2 seconds until the Wi-Fi icon flashes. Follow the in-app Bluetooth prompts to connect to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and your rail will appear in the app within minutes.
Note: The rail must be connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band. 5GHz is not supported.
